Our history

The project starts with the restoration of Palazzo Caracciolo di Santobuono in Via Carbonara, Naples, which since 2003 represented the dream of giving back to the city a palace of noble architectural features, which has hosted some of the protagonists of Neapolitan and European history, highlighting the desire to reshape the area, recover and revitalise the city’s artistic and cultural heritage. Today, the Palazzo Caracciolo hotel is one of the Naples city’s landmarks.

From the success of the initial project, in 2017 the Group decided to start a renovation project for the Hotel Britannique aimig at turning it into a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel, affiliated with the Hilton chain, by the soft brand Curio Collection, taking the name The Britannique Naples, Curio Collection by Hilton.
From 1st January 2023, Caracciolo Hospitality Group takes over the management of an additional property, the Grand Hotel Telese. Surrounded by the green lung of the Telesina Valley, the Grand Hotel Telese represents a paradise of well-being, far from the chaos of the city. This project also had the aim of taking over a destination in the Campania region. Telese Terme, renowned for its sulphurous water source, is a popular destination for medical tourism, a developing sector for southern Italy.

Board of directors

Graduated in Geological Sciences from the University Federico II of Naples, Dr. Jannotti Pecci has been working in the hotel, hydrothermal and bottled mineral water industries for more than twenty years.
On 12 May 2022, CEO Costanzo Jannotti Pecci was nominated as the new President of the Unione Industriali di Napoli. CHG’s representative pro tempore, he strongly believes in the values of uninterrupted growth, development and cohesion of the southern territory.
In addition to the positions held in the three facilities, he is managing director of Impresa Minieri Spa in Telese Terme (BN), president of the board of directors of Terme Lucane Srl, owner of Terme Lucane in Latronico (PZ) and a member of the board of directors of the Federico II Foundation.
On 2 June 2008, he was appointed by the President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano, as “Cavaliere del Lavoro” (Knight of Labour) for the spa tourism industry, the first person to receive the honour for this sector.
He was the National President of Federterme Confindustria, one of the oldest associations in the system having been founded in 1919, of Federturismo Confindustria, President of Confindustria Benevento and of Confindustria Campania.

Eng. Bellucci Sessa, a university lecturer specialised in installations, is President of the Board of Directors and Technical Director of Itaca-associati Srl. Board Member in office since July 2022, Mr. Bellucci Sessa holds the powers relating to the programming, strategic management, planning and monitoring of all maintenance activities of the CHG company’s real estate assets. Over the course of his professional career, he has worked on numerous projects including the construction of the “Eugenio Battisti” Work and Industrial Museum in Brescia and the executive design of the “La Fabbrica” Shopping Centre in Salerno. The variety of professional profiles and experiences of the new Board of Directors express that cross-sectional and multidisciplinary nature in pursuing the objective of transforming the group’s business model. The main objectives of the new board of directors include the development of procedures and the assignment of delegated powers and responsibilities to set up a quality system capable of responding to the increasing complexity of the Group.

Dr. Moccia, Board Member in office since July 2022 with unanimous approval, is responsible for the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) area. To Dr. Moccia, all powers relating to the programming, strategic management, planning and monitoring of activities related to environmental, social and governance sustainability. He studied at Bocconi University in Corporate Sustainability, Business/Managerial Economics and at Luiss University in Real State Development, and has extensive experience as a consultant at Moccia Irme SpA.
